The lab is very active with more than 20 new abstracts per year since it started and has presented in the major neurosurgical events such as AANS, EANS and WFNS.

The Alshafai Lab was established back in January 2016 and is led by Dr. Nabeel S. Alshafai. With a genuine interest in neurosurgical research and education in order to develop neurosurgery practice as a whole, the lab concentrates on projects in different areas with the main focus on the following topics:
